Pram question

So i've got the icandy cherry pram and the carrycot to use when shes newborn.

It comes with a matress and the matress cover is like, i don't know what material it is but kinda feels like a sort of waterproof thing. Doesn't feel very comfy at all.

Do you line these prams with thin sheets or something? can you do that? I think a blanket would be too hot because it will be summer, so i just thought a sheet just to make it a bit more comfy?

use a moses basket/pram sheet, will be cooler than a blanket

Mines similar to that, the matress is the same size as my moses basket so just gonna buy a few extra sheets
