Keep having a recurring nightmare.

It's starting to take over everything.

I've got a cyst on my brain. Found it out last year when i got a head injury and had to have a CT scan to check for any bleeds. Doctors don't know how long i've had it, and it causes me no problems apart from headaches.

When i first found out i was pregnant and had all my appts ect, doctors were concerned whether i was able to go ahead with a natural delivery because of the cyst, and that the pressure from pushing could cause the cyst to burst.

The hospital wrote to my neurologist explaining the pregnancy and to ask him if it was ok for me to go ahead with a natural delivery, and he got back to us saying he thinks i will be fine.

For the past week or so now i've had dreams where im giving birth, then all of a sudden this cyst 'explodes' in my brain and i end up dying. Thats all it is everytime, then i wake up.

Now im just so scared I know the neurologist would of said not to go ahead with a natural delivery if he thought there would be a problem, but the reality is he don't know for sure, no-one does, and now im completely sh*tting myself incase something does happen

I know theres not much i can do but these nightmares are really starting to effect me.

Maybe you could talk with the midwife next time you see her and let her know how your feeling. I know its easy for people to say 'well he said it was ok' Maybe you just need to hear it again from a health professional. I know i always feel better when assured by my doc x

Oh bless you hunni,

I would talk to m/w too and discuss your fears. this must be awful for you? would a c section be a possibility as although it may not be what you want it would save a lot of stress beforehand and also during as your going to be terrified of pushing.

hope you find the answers you need
