Sudden neck/shoulder pain

I have just started getting a pinching pain in my neck/shoulder (where it goes from neck to shoulder) I have heard that pain in your shoulder can indicate preeclampsia which I am been monitored for as had in a previous pregnancy, does anyone know where abouts the pain for preeclampsia is? I have had swollen feet, hands and face today but all gone down now.

I would give your maternity unit a call especially as your being monitored for pre-e! I'm also being monitored for it BP has been uncontrollable and my doctor mentioned any type if upper abdo or shoulder pain and I've to call as well as the usual pre-e symptoms.

Could be nothing but no harm in checking! X

Just feel like a bit of a time waster cause every time I go everything seems fine. Although I was admitted for a week about 3 weeks ago for high Bp, protein and headaches but then protein and Bp went back to normal. Seems a little up and down at the minute. Just feel like I'm bothering them every time I get a new symptom and it's not preeclampsia.

I know exactly what you mean! But the midwifes are always so nice and I'm pretty sure they'd rather you bothered them 50times than not!
I have been going to hospital twice a week for BP checks and changing meds etc, the midwifes know me by name when I go in lol! I had the most awful headache a few nights ago but I couldn't bring myself to call as things had been fine a couple days before at appointment and I was due for my next appointment the next day! The headache was so bad I was in tears! I waited it out till the morning when I had my appointment and the midwifes were quite annoyed that I hadn't called in! They told me not to be so stupid next time!

Give them a call and just see what they suggest! X
