I had spotting a couple of days ago. I called the doctor and she said as long as I wasn't cramping then to just rest, get plenty of fluid, and keep an eye on things. I haven't had any spotting since that day, but I keep feeling a pain shoot through my lower pelvic area. It feels almost like a bladder infection, except it hurts at random times and never hurts when I pee.
Today at the store someone asked when I was due and when I told her October 3 she got a look of surprise and said I was carrying really low and looked like I was due a lot earlier. When I got home I started looking in the mirror and it does look like I've dropped a lot in the last couple of days.
Should I be concerned? Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I don't really want to bug the doctor because I'm not cramping but I've been worried since the spotting.
I would call the dr back. Trust me you wont be bothering her, its her part of her job and you dont want to risk harming yourself or the baby. When is your next appointment?
Its a little more than two weeks from now. The receptionist made a mistake scheduling it; at my last appointment the doctor said she wanted to see me in two weeks but the receptionist scheduled the appointment for almost a month out. I didn't notice until later and up until then I had the easiest pregnancy in the world so I never called back to tell her she made a mistake and reschedule. I think I should probably call tomorrow and tell her I should have been due for an appointment this week and let the doctor know whats gonig on.
