Upper Right Abdominal Pain

This is a totally loaded question, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced upper right abdominal pain, basically right below your boob. I have been getting pain there that feels like burning and I also feel it in my back in the same spot. I've gone google crazy and looked at everything.

I have had gallbladder issues in the past so my thought is that it could be related to that or something with the pancreas but then I saw a baby center thread that mentioned lots of pregnant women experiencing this buring sensation in that spot, so has anyone here experienced this? Please help!

I had this kinda pain but from about 12 weeks. Its not quite abdominal, but not on my ribs/breastbone but not on my boob either! Midwife said it could be heartburn or baby pushing - LOL - But from how early on I had this it was not baby pushing, and ive had heartburn now so i know it's different. They couldnt explain it.

I felt by sitting up and stretching back it somehow helped?

I get it as soon as I eat so I don't think it is just the baby. Last time I ended up having my gallbladder removed a week after I delivered my son and my dr. the whole pregnancy told me I just had heartburn when really I was having severe gallbladder attacks. I just don't know if it is worth looking into. Did it burn when you had this pain?

I'm getting it up high kinda up where sammielouize says she's getting it. Mine's more like my ribs. It's not when baby is kicking though, it happens lots at night, and it feels like I have to push my ribs in to make the pain go away. I haven't looked it up though, I'll ask the doctor when I go on friday,

I hope you're feeling better soon.

I did some research and if it is pancreatitis, then sometimes they do a c-section before treating you for the pancreatitis, that it can be really bad for the baby. I tried to talk to my doctor about this at my last appointment but she just couldn't be bothered. I made an appointment with my family doctor but he's not in until Friday, I'm wondering if I should just go to the e.r.?

Hmm I had that same pain/burning sensation and it has started to go away now that baby is dropping more and more... I think mine must have just been pushing though as I only seemed to get it when she was lying more on that side... Hope its nothing to serious and you get it all checked out hun.
