Psyllium Husks Capsules? ok during pregnancy?

It says consult your GP before taking. But to save me the hassle has anyone in the UK got the ok from their GP on these?

Anyone? I realise it was very early morning when I first posted this so you might not have seen it!

I've never asked my GP about it (I've not even seen my GP since 6 months before I got pregnant!). But I take psyllium husk as a drink periodically when I get constipated and I'm fine. It's usually one of those things that's recommended to pregnant women, along with prunes, as a stool softener. If you have some sort of digestive problem or vitamin deficiency, I might ask about that specifically. But in general, I think it's considered pretty safe if you're healthy and are taking it according to the recommended dose. I certainly don't feel concerned about taking it.
