I wouldn't worry too much about whether baby is engaged or not. Saw consultant and he said babys head was free and not engaged, that evening I went into labour and my son was born 23hrs and 46minutes later!! He is my first child aswell. I had heard and had been told that with your first the head always engages early like at approx 36 wks. Obviously not always! Miswife should tell you tho, you do have a right to know after all. xx
OK, I just checked my notes and it says free. Hmm, nice of them to tell me.
They have told me that at 40 weeks I can have a sweep if I want - thats all I have been told about being near my due date. Lol.
I a just taking it that I cant walk easily, and that I cant roll over in bed without help as Baby is engaged..............
