You are probably sick with the same thing but just experiencing different symptoms. I would assume so anyway. Plus, I don't think you can get another cold or sickness while you already have one. I'd say it's safe but if you are truly concerned, stay away from him until he's better. Hope you both feel better soon!

Dh was sick last week. I stayed away from him, slept on the couch and let him have the bed, and then when he went to work, i washed all the bedding and disinfected everything. I didnt end up sick, so that was a plus. I agree, you probably have the same thing just experiencing different symptoms.

I'd keep my distance a bit in case. You are in fact MORE likely to pick up another cold/sickness when you already have one because A. You're pregnant and B. Your immune system is worn down by the original bug.

I once had bronchitis and gastro-enteritis at the same time and then caught a sinus infection on top of those two while I was in hospital. Not pregnant at the time fortunately.

My hubby started with a bug on monday, we didn't share a bedroom or bathroom and i've only seen him for a couple of hours after work each night, good hand hygene etc and yet still i've started with it today
I think our immune systems are low and tbh sometimes no matter how hard you try you won't dodge it anyway.

Put him under quarantine and avoid him like the plague!

No, I'd tell him to try his best to keep his hands washed, cover his face if/when he coughs, try to keep surfaces wiped down (doorknobs, light switches, phones, remote controls, etc)
Make sure you keep your hands washed as well and try not to touch your face (alot of germs are passed from hand to mouth/nose/eyes)
Also avoid any smooches until both of you are well

My hubby is sick too.

It's a cold, and he's been sniffling and sneezing. Stayed home from work today as he was feeling quite miserable. I'm just keep making him and myself tea with honey and lemon, as well as homeade broth soups. Seems to be helping! He has hand sanitizer next to him on the couch and uses it often, and so am I!

Hopefully I won't get sick as our baby shower is next Saturday!
