Thin Cervix At 35 - 36 Weeks

at my last doc appt the nurse told me my cervix was very thin and that the baby was positioned head down and she was very low so u think this can mean the baby is coming early ? has anyone been told the same or is dealing with the same situation ? this is my first so im just really curious ( i was also booked for a induction at 38 + 3 days but was nervous about it but now im not worried now knowing that my cervix is thin and shes really low should i still be scared ???)

I have no idea hun, did they give you an internal for a reason? I haven't had my cervix looked at/touched in any of my midwife appointments and I don't know when she's supposed to start or if she will at all!

Ah right. I just figured that maybe something was going on which is why they checked it for her which might explain more.

I'm not surprised you're nervous! I always disagree with them making predictions like that, they can't know anything for sure and now I bet if you get to 38 weeks you'll be wondering what the devil is going on! Try not to dwell on it too much, baby will come when it's ready and you're at a stage now where it shouldn't do much harm for it to come
