Has anyone been suffering with seriously sharp pains in their right side up in the ribs/chest area. It really hurts to breat/walk and move around. If it was in the left side i'd be sure i was having a heart attack!
I have exactly same pain in my ribs and only on right side.I have it since I was 20w but that time it was not that intense and was not all the time.......I used to get it only after food or long walk...........but since 30w I have it all the time and its unbearable after food, long sitting position, long walking,standing..........
Its very sharp only on right side and also on back side (same ribs).
I have talked to my dr. about it and the reason is same that baby is pushing up and all organs and ribs are pressed.
even though I don't feel any baby kick in my ribs.
more or less i am used to it now and when its really really bad then I have to lay down for a long time....hope you feel better soon.
there is nothing we can do for this pain after birth it will not be there...
Me 3.......................... Its fooking unbearable at times, only started in the last couple of weeks, it comes on so sudden and the only thing that gets rid of it is if i lie down for a wee while.
Nearly been in tears because of it and as said by Zoya its just the baby pushing things out of the way.
I had this up until about a week ago!Its not nice and is soo painful but unfortunatly its just one of those magical pregnancy things!!Mine eased when the baby dropped down a bit.Try a hot water bottle when its really sore seemed to help a little bit for me.x
Mine is more of a stitch like pain in my sides and I have it all the time at work, I think it is just the position I have to sit in, I have started taking paracetamol which helps a bit but really the only way I can get rid of it is with a heated wheat bag or by lying down!
