Are you buying gaviscon from the shops? Because that will do nothing. I get mine on prescription, stronger stuff, I go through a 500ml bottle in 4-5 days. It's god awful stuff but it's magic... you can get it from your GP xx

Um... yes, yes, yes, and yes. And the heartburn only gets worse from where you're at now. I've spent the last few nights crying my eyes out from being purely miserable from the heartburn. The only comfort I've found is drinking vinegar. It neutralizes the acid in your throat and stomach and I'm usually able to go back to sleep 10 minutes or so after drinking a few tablespoons full. I've had it so bad lately that the acid is backing up into my ears and nose that is pretty much unbearable.
I'm waiting on the sudden burst of energy I'm supposed to get just before birth because I've had zero energy the last few weeks and can barely get the daily stuff done around the house (after working my full time job).

So to sum it up, yes I am miserable and tired and sick and ready for this to be over with.

See your GP he will give you the strong stuff... i drink it like it's going out of fashion and it works wonders. I know exactly how you feel I spent so many sleepless nights crying because of the heartburn pain. xxx
