Vaginal varicose veins

OMG! During an exam today the Dr said I had a bulging varicose vein and it had popped. She sat there with the large swabs on a stick to put pressure on it and stop the bleeding. I have never had this happened. Has anyone else dealt with this?

Uh, I had one last pregnancy and it has popped back up now in the last few weeks (am 39 now).

Not had it burst on me though.
Aches on standing, walking.

It did go down in between pregnancies- so there is hope!

No it hasn't.
But mine are on the outer side and also we don't get internal exams herein the UK until we are actually overdue or are in labour.
