dark area around belly button?

theres almost a blusih ring around my belly button.
im not worried, cos Lyssa is moving perfectly, and tbh its prob been there a while cos i can't see my belly button unless i look in a mirror.
and im on weekly midwife appoinments so it can't be anything to worry about.
if it helps, i do know that i have a small umbillical hernia
but does anyone else have this?

It may sound daft hun but...have you been wearing jeans? The metal button at the top if it was touching your skin it can cause a bruise like colouration to the skin. If you know what i mean lol

Not sure what else to suggest though hun just a thought X

i had a quick google and yeah it seems to be either hormones or skin discoloration because of the stretching.

Hi, I've had this for a few weeks now. I thought it might just be veins being pushed forward. I've found that I am am very 'veiny' all over tummy/legs, hopefully it will go away after birth!

I have this, sometimes it can look more browny, dependin on how much im stretchin my tummy. Think it is just stretching, makin ur skin thinner and more see thru. That would be good sometimes wouldnt it, if ur skin went see thru n u cud see ur baby hehe. xxx
