Silly question from a newbie...

Up to now I have been a silent observer on this forum and have learned a lot from all of you.

Anyway, Im due Nov. 30 and see that we are collectively known as the "November Sparklers." This has sparked (pun not intended) my curiosity. Am I missing something? I don't get the connection of November to "Sparklers." I know the nickname for Oct. mommies has something to do with pumpkins, which I obviously get. Can anyone explain this to me? Thank you.

I don't know either - I thought the names were mostly just picked and didn't have any background meaning LOL. (except the sept-embryos - haha)

In the UK on november the 5th, we celebrate bonfire night or "Guy Fawkes night", and people set off fireworks and sparklers. I'm assuming this is what it means anyway!

Ok, that makes sense. Goes to show how culturally aware I am.

We came up with the name as i was due on the 5th Nov which then changed after to the 4th, and thats what gave us the idea from bonfire night and all the pretty sparklers.

you dont 'have' to join the group its just a little bit of fun most of us have been together from TTC 1st tri through to now.
