i had a few cups a day from about 35 weeks , obviously i have no basis for comparison but i really believe it helped with labour.
i dont know how long i was pushing for but it cant have been too long, and didnt seem at any point like i couldnt do it, in fact my body did most of it for me... i only added extra pushes at the very end just before he crowned, before that my body was kind of doing it without me i just went along with it
id get some anyway , even if it does nothing for you it tastes alright ( but i do like herbasl teas) and wont do any harm
Ive used it
I think i started week 35.
I started on just 1 cup a day and bulid it up but not slowly, by 38wks i was having around 10 cups a day, purely because i found it extremely nice!
Well, i can say for deffo RLT was the reason for this, but it is certainly nice to think it was, i did have long labour (26hrs) when it came to the pushing stage (Which is what it helps for) Only pushing for 10mins, i think pretty decent time for first time.
Would i try it again, YES, it's nice to think it will help again, if not i shall enjoy drinking it.
Im going have 2/3cup a week from 30wks, then 1 cup a day from 32wks.
I used it in my 1st preg & tbh i actually liked it as a drink once i'd put a little sugar in to make it sweeter, So i drank quite alot of it i can't say it helped with labour as i was induced , poorly & had hell of a time so cant exactly comment.
I'm got some more now & have 1/2 cups a day although ideally your meant to be 32 wks i just like the drink, Can feel more BH with them too.
