Think I'm getting a cold sore.

Has anyone had one whilst pregnant and what did you use on it.

I knew I'd tempted fate the other day when I thought to myself that I hadn't had one whilst pregnant!

I would have just used the same treatment as always... I didn't think a lotion would affect you differently but it's best to just pop to a pharmacy and ask for advice.

I personally like boots cold sore lotion in a glass bottle. It stings when applied but it dries the cold sore out fast x

I have been plagued by them! I get them when I'm run down anyway. For years I thought Zovirax was the best cure but now I use the compeed patches. Utterly amazing. Clear up small ones in a day and big ones within 2-3 days. I have packs of them in all my bags!!

My mother get cols sores all the time and she uses huge doses of L-lysine to get rid of them. Works very well. Double check with your pharmacist, but since it's an amino acid, it should be fine, especially short term.
