Sore throat/nose...worried about Toxoplasmosis?

Hello,

I'm 38+3... Tonight I've suddenly got a bit if an infection in the back of my nose and a sore throat... No fever or anything but its literally just come on.

Last weekend I was doing the garden and I was scraping up all the dead leaves from the flower bed when I came across loads of old cat poo... I had gloves on
But realised the nails had broken through the ends... I washed my hands thoroughly and called the midwife who said if it after 20 weeks the baby is fully developed and ...but I read so much that says its more likely to pass across to the baby later on in pregnancy...also when I tipped it into the bin all the dust blew up in my face :0( is that risky?

I've just got myself all worried...
Any experiences/suggestions?
Xxx

It's mostly likely a cold..I've been feeling the same way for the couple of days.

Thank you, if I think rationally I think the same but then my paranoid brain goes into overdrive and I start googling stuff which is never a good idea!

I'm exactly the same! It's hard not to worry but I agree it's probably just coincedence and a virus, googles not always the best place to look, I've regularly swept out the front whilst dh does all the gardening, then I read you shouldn't breathe in any dust from outside in case you catch it via the soil particles so I stopped sweeping and worried about that for awhile, the internets not always our friend I'm sure if you washed your hands thoroughly you'll be fine xxxxxx
