Do real contractions feel like BH at all?

Im having pretty sharp pain my my bump, kinda like period pain i guess.

Iv had a few nights of BH and this feel nothing like that. My belly isnt hardening up like a rugby ball all over.

The pain is at the bottom of my bump and it blimming hurts lol

If its not labour do you think i should be concerned?

Everyone is different, but with my dd my contractions felt like a band tightening round my bump and hips and my bump definitely got hard every time.

I am having a lot of low down period type pain just now, without any bump hardening, and I am assuming it is just LO moving down.

I can't say I am having any 'sharp' pains though, even the contractions were more achey than sharp.

Could you have a bladder infection?
I would call your m/w just in case.

my actual contractions felt nothing like bh.

i felt bh in my stomach and it was a tight feeling with slight back ache.

but my contracions were far more intense from the beginning and all in my back it did feel like the worst period pains ever.

when early labour started it really felt like zane was guna fall out of my bum so i knew something was goin on lol

if u feel concern call the hospital and get checked over x

I would say if your belly is tightening, even if it's not as much as BH, and the pain is starting to take your breath away, that could definitely be the start of real contractions!!

Are you timing them?

I think it's less about the actual pain and more about the timing and length. Pain is relative to everyone and what's killer pain to me may be a slight nuisance to you, ya know?
