Soooo frustrated! I am overdue so last night dh and i dtd and i made sure he finished in me to help sofften things up down there.
At 1am i woke up with horriblle pain, like my period was about to start.
I started timing the contractions and they would stay 6min for awhile,, then 7min, then 10min then back down to 6min now they are gone!!
That llasted a good 4hours!
I know with ds i had the same thing. And the 2nd night turned into the real deal.
I had this for 2 days! I went into active labour after I went into hospital for a check. I got home and contractions became much more painful until eventually my waters broke and I got to the hospital to be told I was 8cm. So I had no pain relief and walked to my water birth room where I was 10cm and had to start pushing while waiting for the pool to fill. An hour later he was born in the water, so I think it'll be soon for you!
Exact same thing happened to me the other night. DH finished inside and I woke up a few hours later with contractions from 7-10 minutes apart for several hours. They stopped when I drank a glass of water and got in the bath for a bit. Oh well!
I had a bath after my first day of slow labour, it stopped my contractions for a while, but it did allow me to get at least a couple of hours sleep, which is lucky because I didn't sleep after that until 2 days later when I gave birth.
Update: 2nd night of contractions. These were wayyyyyyyy more intense and painful. I had to swear my way through them
lasted all night, and now have fizzled away but everytime i get up and move around i get more contractions.
