What do I really need to buy for baby?

I'm suddenly feeling very clueless. I'm sitting on my savings with no idea what I actually need and what's a waste of money or what's an essential. I'm due Jan so want it done but xmas but I'm devating on leaving some things untill the Jan sales. Starting to panic! Can you ladies help me with what I've actually got to buy now...

I have
Crib, sheets, blankets
Pram
Baby carrier
Swing
Newborn - 0-3 & 3/6 outfits/bibs/vests etc
Changing table & mat
Blankets
Towels
Nappies & Wipes
Baby Toiletries
Pads for me
Car seat
Dummies etc
I'm gonna get all the little bits like mobiles etc once I've got everything I definately need

What else?

Also I'm breastfeeding so what do I actually need like bottle wise etc? Should I buy sterilising stuff yet or wait?

Thanks ladies

Do you have newborn and 0-3 clothes? I planned to BF, but didn't make enough so we had to switch. We've never used a sterilizer for bottles just the dishwasher. We love their Rock N Plays for night, so you might think about that.

Yeah I've up to 6 months, I just edited my post cause it wasn't very clear. Never heard a Rock N play but I'm gonna Google. Thanks

I think a baby carrier is a must! Whether it be a wrap, carrier like an Ergo or a sling. That way you can still get things done around the house while baby is with you and you are able to use both hands. lol

Think you're pretty much there. As another user mentioned, a sling of some form would be very handy!

Baby monitor?
Angel care movement monitor provided some peace of mind.

With regards to bottles etc if you're planning to bf then I would advise waiting until bubs is born. See how you get on/feel. I wasted so much money buying those items as be worked out fine.

Honestly, as a second time mom, I feel like all babies really need in the first month or so are:
- diapers and wipes
- clothes
- car seat

and that's it! All the other stuff isn't "needed", it's just a convenience. When I look at it that way, it's a million times less stressful. Babies just need warmth and food, aka their mom.
