Are we allowed to eat


Are we allowed to eat slices of salami??

i got 4 slices of black peppered salami from the deli with my lunch and im not sure whether or not to eat them in the car back i had a memory that we're not supposed too....

Theyre sitting right next to me calling my name......

Apparently its a big no no because of listeria and if you get listeria it can harm the baby but you wont necessarily feel ill yourself so you wouldn't know if you and LO are ok.

Ive eaten peppered salami thats prepacked but not the fresh stuff from the deli.God i love peppered salami ...all about moderation hun xx

Well i dunno if its fresh its just cut from a big block of it the same way the other meats are... would that make a diff?

The stuff they cut behind the counter is deli meat hun which apparently is a no go, But i agree a little of something is fine hun. Just dont go overboard xx

If unsure or you'd rather not risk it, buy the prepacked stuff in asda its about £1. xx

I heard its bad as well but i gave into a subway sandwhich a few months back and im still here lol so i would say a little bit wouldnt hurt you and if you heat it up its actually safer apparently.

I asked my mw about what I could and couldn't eat a long way back and she said the reason people are so worried is that IF the food is contaminated pg women are more prone to getting sick from it. But since being on BnB I notice that every country has its own list of what to eat/what not to eat - so I just eat it all in moderation!! (except I do eat peanut butter every day)
