TMI - increased bowel movements

With DD, I was constipated the whole time. I really had to load up fiber. Even towards the end, I was still pretty constipated.

This pregnancy, I've had mild constipation here and there, but I've not had problems going. I put this down to the fact that after I had DD, I had to have my gallbladder out which actually regulated me quite nicely, if I may say so myself

So I've gone back and forth between the two, but neither extreme.

For almost a week now, bms have increased. Not loads, but enough to say they've increased. All super soft. Today I had about, um, 5 episodes...

I know this can be normal towards the end of pregnancy. I was just wondering if anyone else is struggling with this. I'm more nervous as I start school next week. Tuesdays I have a 7 hour skills lab. While I know we'll have a lunch break, I can't imagine it'll be easy to keep popping into the bathroom to go. So I'm a bit nervous about how that's going to work out.

The other 2 days I have class I'll be in there about 3 hours each on different days, so hopefully more manageable, but I'd be horrified I had to keep making trips.

i have been having multiple days like this as well. It started about 2 weeks ago. The doctor said I Was maybe overdoing it now that I Am towards the end of my pregnancy. He suggested some rest and extra water intake. I switched to halfdays at work and am putting my feet up more 0 that helped some but today I had a bad day again. Our bodies are trying to get ready for labor and are flooded with extra hormones. Just take extra care of yourself and mention it to your care provider

If it keeps up I'm planning on mentioning at my next appointment even if just to see if there's anything I can do to help decrease them to something a little more reasonable. Today hasn't been as bad, but it's still annoying.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I wouldnt be overly concerned, unless you also start having cramps, vomiting, more nausea, bleeding, dizziness, etc. Good luck!
