Me with my 3rd. I'm scheduled for a section the 24th. I hate to say it because this is my last, but I am soooo done, I can't wait for her to come and wouldn't be opposed to her coming safely early. I still have stuff to do to get ready but just not feeling it. Everything's washed so she has clothes to wear and a place to sleep, but just not all put together.

I'm due with no3 on the 15th too. I'm so over it! Can't wait for this a baby to come. My other 2 were very big so if this one doesn't make an appearance soon I'll be going for a section at 39 weeks. I'm so anxious about it all, I just want her out safely! neither birthing option is appealing to me right now.

I'm due the 14th with my third as well. I'm aggravated today because all last week I've had signs of impending labor like the baby has been moving less, breasts feel fuller, baby has been engaged fully for 3 weeks now, frequent Braxton hicks this week etc.
yesterday after work I got the Braxton hicks again but they were very strong and came with lots of pressure and a back ache. Didn't slow down after laying down and drinking water. Came every 4.5 minutes and lasted a minute. Went to bed and they petered out. Hubby told me to call out of work today. So therefore nothing happened today!!!!
Both my labors began with waters breaking, not contractions, so prodromal labor is new to me.
I'm just worried that I'll ignore future contractions and think they're nothing and then give birth in the car. Ugh.
I've also never gone past 38 weeks. Son came at 36+1 and daughter waters broke at 37+5 (had to get induced to have her at 38+1 no labor started).
So im 37+6 today (37+4 if you count by when I think I conceived)

A friendly hello to all of you I'm happy to see that I am not the only one in third tri expecting a baby very soon! Definitely gives me a lot of comfort knowing we are all in the same place and dealing with similar emotions.

For those expecting your second, in my own experience the second time was such a pleasant surprise after a very hard first time experience with birth and a newborn. My first I had major postpartum anxiety, baby blues, a horrendous time breastfeeding, and no bond with my son for months. Second time was the complete opposite and a very happy, reassuring experience. It's true that experience can really make all the difference. Hope that brings some comfort.

And to commiserate (and I'm glad to see others do the same!), my two sons have come down with hand, foot and mouth a week before my due date, fabulous! I really hope I don't contract it and praying they recover quickly.

Paris, I'm glad to hear the second time around was easier, you're right at least the experience and knowledge are already there, although I do feel rusty I'm sure it all comes back. We also struggled so hard with breastfeeding so I'm crossing my everything this time goes easier.

It feels like this pregnancy flew by for me, probably cause I'm so much more busy this time compared to my first pregnancy and having no kids. Do any of you also feel like it went by so fast the second time?

So sorry your kiddos caught that with you so close to delivery time! I hope you and your newborn skip it!

So gla I hear the second time is easier and better. I too found it hard the first time with my son so I'm hoping this time will be more enjoyable.

I too have had loads of contractions over the last week. With my son labour just started but this time it feel start stop. Roll on the real thing!!

I'm due the 20th but having a scheduled section on the 14th! Will be my third baby but first section so I am scared about the recovery considering I have a just turned 4 year old and 15 month old! I'm totally fed up now and just want the date to come. I'm not sleeping well at all and feel really anxious about the birth. X
