35 weeks and not ready for baby

Hey everyone, I'm 35 weeks pregnant with my second child and not ready for baby by a long way!

I was so busy in December with my daughter's birthday and Christmas, then in January we moved house so most of Jan was spent packing and moving. This month so far I've been unpacking and sorting out both the new and old property. There's still a lot to do, no wardrobes yet in the new place or washing machine to wash baby clothes.

I was just wondering where other people are at with preparation for baby at this point and what I should add to my list? At the moment the following are my priority to sort out:

* Wash and press baby clothes ✅
* Order new pram liner and apron for buggy ✅
* Wash buggy covers ✅
* Wash car seat covers ✅
* Buy nappies, wipes, cotton wool, sudocreme, muslins ✅
* Pack hospital bag ✅
* Finish re-reading my Hypno birthing book ✅
* Set up Moses basket ( need new mattress and to clean covers) ✅
* Freezer meals ✅
* Big sister gift ✅
* Prepare some activities for big sister ✅
* Buy buggy board ✅
* Buy changing mat ✅

Anything else vital? At this point with my daughter I had already decorated her room and made several quilts but this time round I haven't had a chance to do anything nice like that. Everything is hand me downs and I'm struggling to afford the few replacement bits I need, probably have to wait until the end of the month.

Trying to stay calm but eeeeep! Lots to do!

Thanks ladies I'm relieved I'm not alone! I think I'm frustrated as I can't make any progress at the moment as the washing machine hasn't arrived and I can't afford to order the bits we need yet. Gah!

34 wks and the nursery is cleaned, painted. Crib is attached. We have change table and dresser placed, car seat bought, but that's it.

Its been 7 years since our last so my mom is throwing me a shower, so hubby has put a firm embargo on making purchases, which is driving me bat shit crazy! The shower is on Sunday and I have Monday off, so i know where I'm headed straight away after my scan! I hope to grab any remaining necessities then. I finish work in 2 weeks and pending and early arrival, i hope to get everything sorta, along with the house during that time.

Pizza and Netflix sounds more like it!!!

I hope you both got lots of the things you needed at your showers! I don't think I'm having a shower this time round. Some old friends threw me one for my first baby but I have not been in touch with them as much since becoming a mum.

I've finally been able to order some of the things we needed for the new flat and almost finished clearing out the old house. The washing machine will be delivered tomorrow thank goodness. Thanks to my mum I have some money now to go and buy the bits I need for baby so I'm planning to head to the shops and get those bits today! Phew! My MIL has also been very helpful with cleaning and washing. Not sure how I would have coped without the help from family.

So... Still not ready but getting there! I can't quite believe I'm at this stage of pregnancy so unprepared!

I'm not quite as far along but I've got a scheduled csection in 10 weeks and there is definitely so much we still need to accomplish. I think with each kid I've just gotten lazier and lazier about preparing. The first I was gung ho with decorating a nursery and having everything ready way in advance. Each child since has been more and more delayed in being ready.

I think that must be a big factor! With first baby I spent the whole pregnancy preparing. With this baby I have been busy with my older child as well as all the moving craziness. I guess I am more prepared in many ways as I have done it before, and had a lot of baby things saved from the first time round. X
