35+6 Upset tummy, lower backache and shivers..anyone else??

Hi everyone. I am new to this site.

It's 5am, my usual wake up time these days which frustrates me as I gave to get up for work in an hour or so

Anyway, last night was horrible. Most of the evening was so uncomfortable to sit it felt like I was breaking my tailbone! I thought I'd turn in for the night. My DH decided to cone to bed a little later, woke me up which then required me to change positions. I struggle to sleep on my side due to front bumpnweight no matter what I support it with. Once I did this I felt really uncomfortable and the shakes started. Mainly in my legs. I then started to feel an upset tummy coming on so went to the loo. By this point the shakes were quite violent and (tmi) had a small dose of diarrhoea.. then I felt I needed to be sick. The diarrhoea stopped but the shakes continued and I was getting lower back aches too. I retched a couple of times but was not actually sick. Called DH in only to find me hunched over the bath tub on my knees lol. This went on for about 20 mins until the shakes eased off a little but still felt sick. Forced myself back to bed where I exhaustedly fell asleep. Still getting odd lower back pain now but not sure if this is from sleep position (sitting up) or BH.
Anyone else had this? Most days I have urge to go to the toilet with upset stomach but once I'm up to go, it goes away..??
Midwife app last week showed baby not yet engaged, but wonder if maybe she is now..
I feel a wreck! Lol help?!

When I was 35+6 with my last, I had a tummy ache and it turned into labour.

However, I didn't have such a hard time like you did. It seems very rough. Maybe you should go in?

it was horrible!

The symptoms have now eased slightly although I have called in sick at work partly due to being exhausted but I wanted to keep an eye on things.

I've had no "show" yet. My bump is a bit painful at the moment but she's been wriggling a little in there. I swear she's rearranged all my organs lol!

Everything seems to happen fir different ppl it's hard to know whether things are "happening" or not

I think I'm going to see what happens tonight. I've slept most of the afternoon today and my backpain is gone for now. I do feel slightly sick again after having dinner. If the shakes come again with the tummy pain then I will look to go in or call 111.
She's wriggling away as normal tonight.
