I thought being this pregnant was bad enough but I was so wrong! Broke out in hives all over my arms and legs yesterday, no idea why, and the itching at night is completely unbearable. It's now spread to my hands and feet making it painful to walk. Anyone have any advice? I'll be going to the doctor today for sure, but I don't really wanna take anything that will affect baby
I've been trying baking soda compresses but it hasn't been doing much for me. Sooo hard not to scratch!!
Awwh I'm so sorry you're going through this. I had hand foot and mouth in my second trimester and was a wreck from the blistery painful and itchy rash.
Maybe try adding epsom salts to a baking soda bath and just soak? They helped me to dry out my rash... Also, Aveeno baby eczema bath with colloidal oatmeal! All of those together should help with the awful itching. Hope you feel better!
I also bought a pair of slippers and wore them everywhere because my shoes were unbearable. The cushion inside gave me some much needed comfort!
Thanks for your response! Oh hand foot and mouth would be horrible! My feet are definitely the worst part too, the swelling is awful! The past couple days have been better since I've been taking benedryl. Really hope it clears up completely before delivery!
