Yep, same here with the BHs. Although it's just tightenings they have definitely got bigger and stronger this past week. I get them on and off throughout the day but more frequent at night.

I think if I don't end up with a CS (for breech baby) I'll go overdue it's my first so that's kind of expected isn't it? Not looking forward to that at all. I love being pregnant but I am starting to feel like I probably can't take getting bigger for another 4/5 weeks - everything is such hard work already!!

Mrs unicorn- everyone's different. I wonder what the statistics are for first or subsequent babies and being overdue. my labors have always gotten shorter but delivery date is always around due date. I just try and gear up for a longer pregnancy so I'm not too fed up by the end. Plus my Dr offers elective induction at 40 wks which I really don't want and if I'm fed up may give in to!

Oh yes the BH are awful now. I was woken up at 2.45am and up till around 3.30am this morning with the pain of them. I hate they i find them painful but my midwife said thats normal second time round

Mrs Unicorn- Have a little faith my son was born at 38+3. I was in prelabor a week leading up to it (contraction every 30mins for 6days) then my waters broke at just 38+3 (was 00.30 lol) and ds was born at 23.45 that night.

I am short at only 5ft and i was huge, noone thought i would make it to 40w and this time most people (even the drs/mw's) think she will come before 38w despite me being much smaller this time.

I'm getting fed up of being pregnant now im not a great pregnant person. I am so grateful to be pregnant but i do not enjoy it. However last night I had this kinda realization that i have been pregnant for almost 9months and its almost over!!! its a very strange feeling
To think my son was 2y 7m then and he is almost 3yr 2m already!! Its madness!!!!

I just hope this baby girl is not back to back like her bloody brother was so I can just get her out with gas and air and no intervention

Thanks ladies. I saw my mw today and she's still unsure which way up baby is so I'm having a scan on Monday. Can't wait to finally know. I need to know whether I'm mentally preparing for a CS or a spontaneous labour!

Wtb - sounds like you had a rough time with contractions last time. Sorry the BHs are so painful too, that can't be fun, I'm not surprised you're ready for baby to come sooner rather than later.

How true do you think it is that baby movements slow down/change just before labour starts? I'm not worried about movements at all as still getting lots, but they have changed pattern, not as big or strong. Midwife said that I may go early as LO is over the 90% line on my charts. Not sure what will happen but just a wonderingment!

My son was back to back. It is sooo painful. I ended up not being able to push him out as he wouldnt go over the little lip (that isnt an issue when facing normally) after 4hrs pushing I had to have a spinal bloke, episotomy and forceps to turn him before they then told me to push and he came out

I just REALLY dont want that to happen again

I'm due April 6th on maternity leave this week! Baby is head down super low and midwife said I'm 1cm dilated means nothing but with my 1st there was no progress until I went into labor. Kinda secretly hoping he comes a little early, but definitely be waiting patiently!

Had my growth scan today and baby is measuring 7lb.1 and I am freaking out. Dd was 2 weeks and 2 days over and she was 6lb.8. Ds was bang on due date and he was 7lb. 3. But this baby is already 7lb.1 at 37 weeks. I am freaking out

I wouldn't worry too much dream. a friend had her baby yesterday induced because they thought she was 8-9lbs. She was just over 6lb! I think the weight estimates are wrong very often.
