Looks like it's pretty much hell for all of us at the moment!!

I hope they can do something to stop your contractions xpecta, leave her cooking a while longer (even though I totally understand being "done" with the pregnancy)!!

I've had enough of pregnancy now. I'm sore, I waddle, I'm emotional, I'm not sleeping, I've horrific heartburn, my face and upper back have broken out and I'm generally fed up. I don't want him arriving early but at the same time I want him to come as soon as possible on the 'cooked long enough' side.

I've had my elcs scheduled for the 16th May, 4 days before my EDD and I suppose knowing my definite end date is a relief but, for some reason, I still want him here before then.

I had my second growth scan and he's just getting bigger and bigger! At 30 weeks I measured 33 weeks and at 34 weeks I was measuring 38/39 weeks! He is literally off the charts and I'm worried about how big he'll be come 39 weeks.

Also, I've been having back pains like mild cramping and some stomach 'tightenings' on and off for the past week or so. Does this sound like Braxton Hicks? My DS is almost 7 and I cannot for the life of me remember if I had BH with him and, if I did, if they felt like this.

They sound like braxton hicks to me Dreamcatcher but like you I can't really remember! I've been having them on and off and assuming that's what they are. Bloody uncomfortable.

Thank you. They are uncomfortable but in a 'my period is coming' way as opposed to 'dear god there's a watermelon trying to squeeze out my fanjo' way, which is a relief.

Yeah we're all just a bunch of laughs haha.

Dreamcatcher, it does sound like Braxton hicks. I get cramping too. During all of pregnancy.

How are things going for you now?

I was up from 3am this morning due to insomnia and sore hips/back

Still getting BH as and when they decide to appear but other than that everything else is as normal as it has been. How are you?

I'm awake too. Since around 3:30 AM. Had a scare this morning. Thought my water broke, apparently not. I don't feel good. I feel off today. I don't know how else to describe it. It's probably stress.

Why does it have to be so horrible???!!!

I feel all manner of pressure and cramps but I know it's nothing to do with early labour, I never go before my due date! I keep getting shooting pains and nerve pain down my legs. At least unlike you ladies I slept ok ish last night.

Oh Xpecta I hope things are okay and little one stays in for a few more weeks!

Everyone always paints pregnancy as this magical experience whereas I muddle along with it and, by the end, hate it. I genuinely wish I could try to kick things along and go at 37/38 weeks as opposed to waiting for my elcs date!
