Oh Kanichen34 that sucks!! I'm sorry your plans aren't going so well! It sucks when we don't get our plans to work out like that. I hope he'll be fine and you'll get your skin to skin very shortly.

Oh no I hope things go well with your little man Kanichen34.

My DS has a bad cough and is all stuffed up meaning I'm up and down more often during the night to administer cough bottle, vaporub, drinks and what not.

Oh thats rubbish Kanichen I hope it all works out well for you and you get your skin to skin.

Hope your DS gets better Dreamcatcher.

I'm absolutely exhausted. I've been sleeping on and off all day as Olls is at nursery and feel so nauseated. It's like being back in the first trimester again! I'm generally just a bit fed up now. OH and I are hoping to take Ollie somewhere nice this weekend if the weather holds up (unlikely here in Scotland where it's currently grey and windy!)

I woke up this morning at 4 to a contraction. Had 2 more within 30 minutes and nothing else so drifted back off to sleep.
Been having a lot of BH and discharge which may or may not be the start of my plug (clear for 2 days but is a yellow colour today and thicker)
Seeing the midwife on Sat morning so will mention all this.

Cariad_x just noticed you're from Lanarkshire, I'm in North Lanarkshire too what hosp are you going too? (If you don't mind me asking).

Went to slimming world tonight (I still go as my sister goes and we joined together). I've been for 35 weeks and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. So far I've actually put on 13.5lbs, I did lose at the start but I'm only 13.5lbs heavier than I was before becoming pregnant which I'm happy about.

Although since then I've had hot flashes, felt nauseous and keep having BH

Man, I wish I was further along like some of you ladies.

This is driving me batty. My family finally go here and I was hoping they would discharge me and I could go do some sight seeing or just have fun with them, probably in a wheelchair, but still. But now I'm getting some unusual discharge and I don't know what it is. I've been dry this whole pregnancy. Now I've had two small gushes that wet my underwear. But when I finally told the nurse about it, its deciding to be dry of course. Now they're going to think I'm bonkers. But it will make it even less likely that they'll let me out of here now! UUGGGHHH!!!!

I've been trying to think back to my other pregnancies when my waters went. The first one, I woke up wet, then didn't have a single other drip until the evening time. I'm hoping that won't be the case here.

Sorry you're still in the hospital. Man our June Bugs groups is having some tough experiences lately, these babies need to stay put a while longer! Keep us updated, hope the discharge is nothing. I've been having lots of wet discharge for weeks and weeks, was worried but my MW wasn't.

Wow, small world! I'll be having her in Wishaw as it's the most local hospital to us and it's where I had Ollie. From my experience last time the labour MWs were lovely but the aftercare was poor (we were in for over a week as ollie was jaundiced and I was really unwell). Hopefully we'll be out sooner this time! What about you? 13.5lbs isn't a bad weight gain at all!

Sorry you're still in the hospital Xpecta. Hopefully the start getting discharge resides and you'll be allowed out. I always find that it's easier to relax home than on the wards!

I'm still exhausted. Still nauseous. Was having painful irregular contractions yesterday but all stopped now. The wee man is visiting his cousin today so I intend to relax as much as I can. I'm packed my hospital bag last night just incase

Don't mind if I join you all. Almost at 33 weeks and the exhaustion is really kicking me. Body/legs ache, lack of sleep, leg cramps, etc. How do women go on for more weeks???? My first here so now starting to feel third trimester blues.

I think i've had some braxton hicks, lots of pressure down there and on my butt area. I don't even know what's a real contraction feel like etc. Not sure what to expect in a lot of ways. Being no spring chicken doesn't help too. Having my first at 42, maybe she comes on same bday as me in May. Due date is June 10.

Xpecta, hope you get to go home soon and relax a bit. I'm sure it helps to at least have family around now.

I think I had a little bit of mucus plug come out today. 33 weeks so makes me bit nervous though talked to doc and he wasn't concerned. It was almost like what you get end of period but a little more mucusy. Brown.... Anyone else experience that this early. And this baby has been stabbing my cervix a whole lot and that's been painful. Plus going to loo more though not diaharrea. and achy tired. This baby needs to stay in for longer to be ready though I am tired...
