This baby needs to stay in for longer to be ready though I am tired...

I think it's okay as long as it's not the whole thing. How much came out do you suppose?

Stretched out about half inch or maybe a little us dime. So won't say it's too much but got my attention. Nothing since. How are things moving along for you? Are you still in the hospital? Hope the contractions stopped and you were able to get out of hospital.

Hi ladies 👋🏻 just catching up on this thread, hope everyone is doing as OK as they can! Later pregnancy is tough going huh?! I'm quite ready to be done with pregnancy now I have to say!

My main and continuing pain in pregnancy has been my ribs. Which seems relatively uncommon. From early on, they've been so sore. It's tripled in horribleness as babies grown and it genuinely has me in tears when she wriggles or kicks up into my ribs now! It also means I can't lay on either side for very long without them cramping up. So sleeping for more than an hour or so at a time is impossible I have to get up, stretch and walk around before the pain eases enough to go back to sleep on the other side!

No real signs of labour yet.. pretty intense Braxton's but no plug etc I don't think.. trying to stay positive though and remember everyday in there is another day she gets stronger and more prepared for the world. I shouldn't wish her out before she is ready! Sometimes easier said than done though!

I'll be going to the Royal. I had the option of Wishaw and the Royal, but being the other end of NL the Royal was easier as it's straight down the motorway. Like you've said though the hospital was great in labour and recovery but the aftercare was pretty poor. I'm convinced one mw didn't like me because I was young, she was just plain horrid! Hopefully it'll be better this time round.

All my hospital bags are packed bar last minute items such as phone chargers etc. Mat leave officially started on Tuesday last week and I don't know what to do with myself while DS is at school. I clean and tidy every day!

I'm still feeling rubbish, nauseated and sore with it becoming worse each day. My suspected carpal tunnel is gradually becoming more of an annoyance and appearing after I've brushed my teeth etc. It's making driving a pain in the ass. Not lost any plug, no visible signs of labour approaching and I don't think myself or baby are in any way ready for it.

I'm with you cleaning & tidying Dream Catcher! Pretty much all I seem to do during the week..not sure what else to do with myself! I'm into week 4 of mat leave now (technically annual leave still at the moment)!

Then I think you should be fine. I've been losing bits of mine for a couple weeks now.

I am out of the hospital! Thank you for asking! I was in there for about 5 days, but they finally let me out. Now I'm just resting as much as I can, but also trying to have fun with the kids.

I'm also finding myself hormonally charged right now, and I really want to be intimate with my husband, but I'm scared!!! Last time we dtd, I went into the hospital the next day with contractions haha. They didn't tell me I was on pelvic rest though, so I don't know what to do here.

I'm with you on the hormones Xpecta! I've not been interested most of the pregnancy and suddenly I'm rampant! Problem is I'm also enormous due to the polyhydramnios (measuring 3 weeks ahead) so it's a bit of a logistical issue!

Not feeling it today ladies. Woke up with awful back ache. And my skin is stretching so much even hot water hurts it and it itches like crazy! The itching actually woke me the other night. My 3 year old has turned into my shadow which I know is because she's unsure but I am literally hearing mummy about every 90 seconds and it's doing my head in! Hubby and I have decided we won't teach this one to speak lol!

Good news is I saw the midwife yesterday and baby is 3/5 engaged (particularly good news given the polyhydramnios meant he may not have engaged at all) - it does however mean every step is painful but I am hoping it means it won't be too much longer! I am being induced Monday unless he decides to come of his own accord.

Just chanting '6 days to go, 6 days to go....' constantly!

I've heard that the royal is pretty decent. Tbh I probably won't care where I am as long as baby gets here safe!

I feel you all with the cleaning. The nesting has properly kicked in for me now, yesterday I defrosted all the fridge freezer, cleaned it and re-packed it then reorganised the kithen cupboards. And I've already done the bathroom this morning 🙈

I was ill yesterday, vomiting badly and dizzy with somewhat regular mild contractions. They've died down today fortunately and I finally managed to sleep last night for the first time in about 5 days so I'm assuming it was just pure exhaustion. Starting to lose bits of my plug so I'll mention it all to my midwife on Thursday.

Glad to hear that baby is engaged Kanichen. Maybe your 3 yr old can tell labour is imminent the way dogs can? Ollie has been quite clingy recently too.

Hope all you ladies are well.
