Quiet in here lately. How are we all doing?

It's been SO quiet in this section lately. Where is everyone? Sleeping because we're tired from being pregnant?

Anyways, let's chat. How are you doing? How are you feeling? What are you focusing on right now to prepare for the baby? What names have you thought of?

Just anything.

I move over here properly tomorrow, I'll be 28 weeks

Still feeling relatively ok at the moment and managing to keep active, hard not to with a dog that needs walking every 5 mins and a 6 year old!

Planning my homebirth, had one with my DS and hoping for another. Just hoping my 28 week bloods come back without any sign of anaemia so I can relax on that front!

I'm fed up of getting up 5 or 6 or more times to pee every night!! I also feel ill 24/7 and have from the start. I'm pretty over it to be honest, just want the baby now even though I know he needs to cook a while longer.

I'll admit I've been pretty down lately. Crying almost every day having pretty significant melt downs. I just dealt with my 17 year old dog getting glaucoma and having her eyes removed. Trying to adjust to her being blind, but had a ton of stress for several weeks thinking I was going to have to put her down. That was directly after a misdiagnosis on my other dog from an incompetent vet who thought he had lymphoma and needed to be put down...turned out he had lyme again and I basically diagnosed that. So my stress level has been through the roof.

Then I've got my OB telling me baby's head is big and I should essentially juts go for a csection. I am super upset about it and have been for a few weeks now. Her head is measuring 3 weeks ahead and he seems so adamant that Ishouldn't even attempt a vaginal birth. I've been researching like crazy and have decided to go back to the midwives at the practice and get some more advice from them...

My original goal of going with this practice was to be midwife led so as to hopefully avoid these kind of scare tactics..it just seems so drastic for a possibility. I have another ultrasound in two weeks and am meting with the MW after and not the OB so I hope she can give me some reassurance. I'm just not happy that this talk of csection seemed to be so certain and so soon...I'm only 32 weeks and he's been taking about it since I had a scan at 28 weeks. If I absolutely need one, well okay, but I want to feel supported to try naturally since I am completely low risk otherwise.

Been feeling so low lately. I wish all this was over, I had my baby, and I could move on. My body is so broken right now and it's really crushing my spirit, I'm having trouble staying positive. I feel like I've been sick or in pain for 8 months and it's wearing on me. I don't know how or if I'll manage to do this again.

Sorry for the pity party...

Symphony, sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope you have luck with the MW. Measurements are so hard to get accurately from what I've been told! I'm really sorry to hear about your dog I hope she adjusts well to things.

AFM, just waiting for the little to drop, I guess. Don't yet have that "get her out" feeling yet, but I'm retaining fluid like crazy at this point and it's really weird. This weekend I plan to get the hospital bag together and with that will be pretty much ready except for a few small things.

I feel like BnB in general has been quiet and slow lately

Symphony, My firstborn has a huge head (consistently measuring 98 or 99 percentile!) thanks to his dad's side of the family. I had a midwife during his birth and no one ever mentioned a c-section. So I hope the midwife can give you some reassurance!

It's sounds like everyone is enjoying third tri as much as I am. I've been in the hospital all day because of contractions. They're very sporadic but have been painful. It's ridiculous.

Symphony, that is just awful to deal with. I'm so sorry you're going through that! I wish there was something I could do.

I do plan on responding to every one of you, I'm just feeling pretty wiped from my day right now. I'll check back in later.

I'm absolutely knackered - running airing after a nearly 4 year old and being heavily pregnant is no fun! I finished up on annual leave leading up to maternity leave today as baby is really low and my midwife is a little concerned that needs job (a staff nurse in a busy brain injury rehabilitation unit) will cause her to drop more as I'm on my feet all day. Tbh I'm a little relieved that I can finally rest a bit!

I'm just finishing off my hospital bag and making arrangements for my son to go to my sisters for when I go into labour. I'm a bit fed up now and although I know that she needs to cook a little longer I just want my baby here.

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. I just want baby here. I'm done being pregnant. However, I know I don't want her in the nicu or anything either... ugh
