Best time for a 4D scan

Hi ladies,
Just popping over from 2nd tri as I figured more of you have probably already had 4D scans by now.
I'm 24 weeks and looking to book for the next few weeks. Ideally between 25-28 weeks I think.
Has anyone any recommendations on the best time to go or any photos to show from any gestation?
I had one at 24 weeks and 30 weeks with my first and he covered himself completely at the 24 week scan and by the 30wk was too squashed so I want to go inbetween this time and hopefully get it just right.

I had mine at 28 weeks exactly. A little 3rd trimester present to myself!

Photos of baby were very good bar the fact she refused to move her hand from one side of her face! Certainly not squashed or anything! I had both 4D & HD - the HD was thrown off by the hand on the face, it was causing a shadow on the image. But even so, still lovely images!

I had mine at 29/30 weeks with my daughter and she was hiding a lot, we only got a few good photos. This time I have an anterior placenta so was recommended to go 27-28 week & we got some amazing photos!

I have anterior placenta too so perhaps I'll need to go earlier. I think I may book for 27 weeks

Hey honey! Me here haha! I went for my 4D scan with Lucas at 26 weeks I've got one pic on my profile page I think? The rest are some where in my old pregnancy journal it's been too long haha! I think they say don't go after 30 weeks as baby will be bigger and less space to see them xx

I also have an anterior placenta and she said come in 27-28 weeks for a better, fattier keepsake than my 16 week gender. I forgot what the range was for non anterior just that she did say because I have an ap she would have me come in a couple weeks earlier. I'm thinking 27w is when I'll go in

We had ours done around 30wks with my second. My first baby did not make it far enough to have the 4D scan but I was told by the technician at her gender scan that 28 weeks to 30 weeks is a great gestation to get them done.
