2 diaper bags? Hiccups and baby

I received a nice diaper bag at my baby shower. Then a surprise gift showed up on my doorstep today from my mother's friend, who I did not invite to our shower. It was another nice diaper bag.

Is there functional use to having 2 diaper bags? If not which one is better? One is backpack style, the other isn't. Both have ample storage and small compartments for things like wipes or pacifiers. The backpack has an insulated sleeve for milk, the other doesn't. Thoughts?

The second question is related to baby positioning. My LO has been breech this last month but now I'm feeling hiccups down low in my pelvis and am wondering if that means she is head down? I also feel kicking down low so I'm thinking she's head down with her feet up by her head? Thoughts?

We tried having two diaper bags but ended up going back to one because we were always forgetting something... I would go with the one that's not backpack. Having a backpack and being alone can be troublesome. If you have the baby in the carrier it's too bulky. That's just my two cents.

As far as baby's position they don't start worrying about that until you're 36 weeks.

Thanks for the input. I realize my mw won't be concerned with baby positioning until later. I'm honestly just curious. But based on the party she was throwing in my belly (that literally woke me from a sound sleep 5 minutes ago) I think I can firmly say she is currently head down, hahahaha!

I used a big bag initially for nappies. And it went over the pram easily with a big single strap. After a while we.moved on to a backpack when we were on the move more. And he didn't need as much stuff.

I agree with above. I used a big diaper bag at the beginning for a long time, but now I just use a backpack as I don't need as much room and I feel more comfortable with it than a diaper bag at this point.

Same here, bag with big strap initiallybthen moved to backpack later. Hiccups felt below your belly button is def an indication of head down.xx

We've got two, one normal and one backpack style. I'd be finewith just one but my husband said he'd be me inclined to carry one around if it were the backpack style that I don't care for. We'll see how true that really is soon enough though.

Thanks ladies. I think I'll keep both. If for no other reason than the backpack style one is more masculine compared to the pretty flowered one from our registry.

Here's hoping my girl stays head down! I'm petrified every day she will turn breech again. Even more worried to sleep at night fearing she'll turn then!! She was breech for 5 weeks until just the other day!
