I would remove it. It can be a strangulation hazard, plus it restricts the airflow going through the bars of the cot. I wouldn't risk it

Horrifying!!! Mine is Velcro that even we adults have an extremely hard time undoing and doesn't have strings, so I haven't even thought of that!!!

They should be banned! Definitely remove it, as others have said it's not worth the risk xx
