What changing bag have you got for baby and toddler?

As the title says really. I had a pacapod bag last time around with a toddler and baby but I found once the pods were in I couldn't fit much else in besides, such as change of clothes etc. I'm looking for something better this time around, usable for baby, toddler and also the odd drink and snack for my 5 year old.

I only have one toddler but we stopped using a proper changing bag when she was about 18 months as this was when she stopped using he buggy/trike. I just put a change of clothes, a few nappies and wipes into my handbag. She has a small rucksack which she carries herself and I put juice and snacks in there. I didn't see the point in using an extra bag once she was off bottles. The only reason I even carry a change of clothes is because she has a lot of digestive issues and ... well you can imagine! I'm I'm going somewhere quick I just put a nappy and pack of wipes in her bag.

I use a diaper bag right now with 4 and 2 year old. Mostly just 2yo cloth diapers. The changes of clothes are kept in the car, we need them infrequently so no point in carrying them around.

I plan to do something different after the new baby is born, not sure what. I'll have two in diapers, one who will need a change, and a 4yo.

Usually we keep drinks in the car, easier to keep up with them. We aren't anywhere so long we can't survive without a drink until we get to the car.

I use my diaper bag and will use it with the new one. It can fit diapers for all, change of clothes small bag of wipes and the extras like change Matt, butt cream, sunscreen and the baby's bottle while the toddler cups can go on the outside holder. I don't necessarily carry into every place I go but it's at least in the which ever car we take.

I've just got my canvas beach bag Mum brought for me as a teenager. Actually surprised it's still in one piece!! But it won't be big enough when our last baby arrives January so I think I'm going to need to upgrade. I'll probably just purchase a decent sized backpack with lots of extra pockets to accommodate for all the extras we will be needing.

I had a pacapod last time and didn't want to use it again this time for the same reasons as you. And I felt it was super bulky. This time I have gone for the Babymel Robyn backpack and so far I love it. Can fit lots in and a backpack is so much more practical for me with a 5 year old as well as I need my hands free.

I'm using a sunveno backpack diaper bag, just got it a few months ago after going through 6 different bags with my last 2 children trying to find something that works. This one WORKS. It's spacious enough for everything that I carry and love love love that I just throw it on my back instead of trying to keep a bag over my shoulder while wrestling a 3 and 1 year old! I currently carry 4 diapers, a package of wipes, a pouch of various hand sanitizers, a pouch of various items (nail clippers, teething tabs, teethers), a couple pacis, paci clips, a first aid kit, snacks , 2 drink cups, keys, my large wallet, phone, a change of clothes for I year old. I know there's more I'm forgetting. My point is it holds a ton of stuff and is still so light!

I'd really like to buy a Land's End or LL Bean canvas tote with the diaper bag insert and use that, still on the fence about it.

I like the idea of a backpack, but after LO is 6 months or so I'll wear LO on my back and it will be useless, been there before.

Ah, never thought of that, I generally carry mine in front until a year or so!
