Awesome. Thanks everyone. I don't get cervical checks so I don't know what's going on down there so doing a S&S will be a way of finding out!

Just a follow up. I had the S&S at 10am yesterday. My cervix was nice and soft and I was 1cm. But I've been admitted to hospital for high BP/possible mild preeclampsia/reduced movements. The obstetrician wants to start prostaglandin gel in the next 24-48 hours. My midwife is going to come in and do another S&S in a few hours in the hopes that we can avoid induction.

The S&S was quite painful. I mean I lived haha and I didn't cry or scream. But I'm thankful my husband was there. He said I smiled the whole way through it haha but I think it was more of a 'get this over with' face. I'm still feeling quite bruised and a bit apprehensive having another one so soon. I've been having some uncomfortable, semi regular contractions and I also lost my plug about half an hour ago.

Mine was easier to bear the second time around (I had two done with my first baby), I think it's because I was a little more dilated and effaced, and baby was at a lower station. Hopefully the same happens for you!

Second one wasn't easier but she was quicker I think. I've got another one in an hour. We are still trying to get things moving. I've got 17 hours until my induction. Come on baby!
