TMI but waters leaking or normal?

40+1.
Since yesterday afternoon I've had trickles of just fluid from down below definitely not urine.

This morning when I sat up in bed got a large wet patch in pj bottoms that had leaked onto bed before I had time to stand up.

Could this be waters leaking ?

Had a sweep yesterday but she definitely said cervix unfavourable I was 1.5cm dilated, soft and central but thick.
Lost loads of plug this morning too.

Sorry TMI alert.

I had discharge that looked the same and felt very wet (although I wore an incontinence pad to hold my discharge, so I wasn't sure if I was leaking fluid or not). At the time, I'd had a dr appointment the day before where my dr checked me and said I was less than a centimeter dilated, and she couldn't do a sweep because she could hardly reach and scheduled me for an induction. I had my baby 20 hours after noticing the discharge and wet feeling. Things can change VERY quickly. I should know - my baby was born on my couch because of how quickly things changed. hahaha. So keep an eye out. If your waters are going, you should start labor within a day or two. I hope this is it for you!!!!!

What does it smell like ? Amniotic fluid tends to smell like semen, very gross

When I started leaking with my last pregnancy at 38w I rang them and was told to come straight on in and they started to induce me right away (they don't want to risk an infection) my wee man was born a few hours later

I think you should go in also, if you haven't already. Good luck!
