It was disappointing and also a bit embarrassing, BUT, I was soooo tired that I didn't feel that embarrassed hah. I was actually a little relieved when they sent us home because I was just drained and totally not ready to go through hours of labor. I'm glad I went because it was a good learning lesson for me!

Wow! Glad I am not alone! Everyone around me seems so surprised that baby #2 is so late since I went right on time with #1...but what can ya do, right? I've tried red raspberry leaf tea, pineapple, dancing, bouncing on exercise ball, walking, jumping jacks, acupressure, clary sage oil, spicy food, dates, cinnamon & clove tea, evening primrose oil, sex, nursing a toddler all throughout...and here I sit, still pregnant haha. I only tried a handful of those things with the first and she was born on time...so I am beginning to feel truly at peace with the fact that this baby will not come on MY time schedule. Today I just took a lot of rest.

I'm worried my baby will come late too because I did go over a week before I was indiced, I truly hope this time around it's not the same case. Best of luck to you and I hope your baby comes soon. Shouldn't be too much longer so rest up . I will try and take my own advice as my time winds down to an end!!!

My first was born at 40+3, but I started having contractions on her due date, it just took her a looooong time to arrive! So I figured my second would probably come slightly early, as I had always heard that second babies come earlier. I was absolutely massive at 37 weeks with my second and I was set and prepared for him to arrive at any moment. He wasn't born until 41+1! I tried all sorts of things to get labour started but he was well and comfortable in there. When things did get going my labour was only 4.5 hrs long, so he came quickly once he decided it was time. Hang in there!
