Let's see if a sweep will work for the third time!

I'm here at 41 weeks on my third baby and preparing for a sweep today at 12pm (midwives in my area don't do them before 41 weeks).

Let's see if it works!

I've had two already with my two previous children which have both worked so I'll be crossing my fingers!

Good luck! I had three sweeps with my last baby, and none of them worked! I hope that's not the case for you. Although when I went in to be induced, she could reach my waters so easily to break them, and I had her within an hour. x

I'll cross my fingers for you!! Sister also had 3 before they had to induce labour and my stubborn little niece still took a further 3 days to arrive!

Just a thought, 2 caps of EPO up close to your cervix after a sweep should help stimulate contractions. Cousin swears by it! But talk with your midwife first because not all will be happy for you to try it. Good luck!!

The midwife could do the sweep easily. Am 2cm, baby is nice and low and in a good position. She said she could have broken my waters then so let's see if this sweep is as successful as my other two! DS was born the same day. Eek!
