Thought my water broke....but nope

I felt such a gush of fluid, more than I ever felt! My OB said to go to hospital...

They tested me...turns out it was probably just urine! How embarrassing. They said it happens a lot but geesh.

I am scheduled to be induced on the 12...and I feel like I will end up needing to be! This baby is stubborn haha:

Aw, how disappointing! It is definitely super common though! Hopefully LO gets the memo to get moving soon

Thank you! I felt so silly!

I hope so, too. I have tried just about every old wives tale. Guess I just have to wait now ha.

Oh man! That sucks but at least you can take solace in knowing that it is super common

lol yes! The nurse and doc didn't seem surprised at all which made me feel that it happens a lot.

I just can't believe I have such little control over my bladder right now at 40+4 that I felt that way! Oh my goodness lol.

I totally understand, I would feel the same way too, and then I would probably cry to my husband about it because I am an emotional sook haha

I understand!!! I have cried to my husband countless times! I've been trying to be more positive now, though...just accepting that if baby isn't ready, it isn't happening yet.

I had this with my last baby I'd be doing regular chores at the barn (we have horses!) and whoosh a big gush would just appear . I wouldn't even need to pee and it would always warrant a few days in hospital to be monitored (was around 33 and 35 weeks). I'm super strict with my pelvic floor as well . Ahh the joys of pregnancy
