Do I need to worry, breech baby 36wks

Hi

I'm really struggling with this pregnancy with tiredness and becoming breathless really easily and general moving around. The baby is breech and it feels so uncomfortable. My dd turned at about 32 weeks and I really can't remember feeling this uncomfortable in myself. I am carry large like I did with dd so this isn't a small bump it's huge! Haha
Ironically I requested a csection at the very start. Just wondering will the baby still be able to turn or is this how it will feel for the rest of the pregnancy and will he be ok? I saw a picture and it looks so uncomfortable for them.
Luckily I have a scan next week due to a potential placenta Previa so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with him being breech just started worrying about it not sure if there's anything I can do to help him x

I'm in a similar boat! 34 weeks tomorrow and baby has been breech for ages! I have a growth scan at 36 weeks and they said if he hasn't turned I need to decided what I want to do .. I don't think I want to do the ECV so it will be a section .. I know they can turn up until the last minute really but obviously the bigger they get the smaller space they have ... I have a bad feeling ours won't turn he seems comfy like it x

I'm with you I really don't fancy an ECV I stupidly watched a video with this poor women having it done. It's going to have to be one heck of a move for this baby to turn as I'm feeling everything so clearly like there is just no room left in there.

Just noticed your dd was born in 2012 too. Is she excited?

Me too! It didn't look nice at all! My OH thinks I should do it if he's still breech but I'm not sure yet going to talk to the midwife about it nearer the time ...

Yes she's super excited! She cuddles my belly all the time and talks to him and she can't wait! Is your DD excited too x

Naw, Yes she really wanted it to be a boy. I think she thinks it's never going to happen as it's taking so long.

I remember when in labour with dd she was side ways and they had to do a similar movement to turn her and didn't even warn me it was so bizarre.

These boys eh!

Aw lovely .. its hard for them to understand the whole process and why it takes so long! Mine knows it's getting closer though so she's excited ..

Oh not good! Even if he flips himself I'm thinking it's going to be an unpleasant feeling! Don't think he will though he's been breech for ages and doesn't ever seem to move out of it he's always in the same place I can tell because he pushes his feet right down and his head sticks right out the top!

Boys like to be awkward!

Are you finding you are getting more heartburn/ acid reflux? I didn't have it with dd but if I lie down it's awful. Such a different pregnancy compared to dd. I've had a lot more symptoms like morning sickness was horrendous and the tiredness is of the scale. Have you found it different this time round?

Oh yes the feet pushing down makes me think I'm going to wet myself then it fades lol so weird x

I've had awful heartburn but I did first time round too .. the only thing a lot different this time round is really bad pelvic pain lately .. my pelvis and pubic bone all feels bruised to the point where it's difficult to walk some days! The midwife said it can be worse than having the baby head down because the head fits snug in the cervix whereas the bum and feet etc make it more uncomfortable ..

A lot of upset stomachs in the bathroom department also lately! 😂

I also had worse morning sickness this time around too x

Thankfully I haven't had the upset stomach...yet, touch wood. Poor you! Yes I definitely have that bruised feeling. Sometimes I swear he does a quick star shape and punches up into my ribs and his feet into my inside below. Makes me jump out of my skin. Have my scan and surgeon app tomorrow I wonder if we will be able to see much?

Is that to plan for a section? They should be able to see on the scan how he's laid etc .. I had a checkup today and the midwife knew he was still breech .. she made me feel like I should try the ECV if he hasn't moved but I really don't know if I should .. I've got work weeks until I have to decide so hopefully he moves but I really don't think he will x
