Caught a cold

I've had this really bad cold for the past 3 days and my throats been extremely sore and I can't stop coughing. Does anyone know if it's safe to have halls or any type of those cough candies?

I took soothers, covered my chest in vick vapo rub and struggled on feeling miserable. Saw my chiropractor yesterday and after my adjustment I could breathe again and today I feel sooo much better, I actually slept last night. I know it's not the quickest or cheapest remedy but I go once a week for my back anyway. Maybe try reflexology if you are really bad, a pamper and some relief.

Thanks for the response, I'm just starting to feel much better now it's just my nose is still a bit stuffed up. But I've started using a Vicks rub on my chest.
