Stress.

I feel like the more i get into my pregnancy the less i can tolerate anymore. I've had a lot of stuff going on with the neighbours.. police involved, housing officer involved, victim support.. it's mainly now just the music. Sometimes because they play it in the day the housing officer seems not concerned about it, but i feel ill and that a chest infection is starting, cold, just wanted to sleep so did some cleaning and by the time i was just about to climb into bed 12.45pm and watch a bit of Netflix, bloody subwoofer comes on upstairs.. they obviously woke one of their children up too as i could hear him start crying from his bedroom above mine. So after 20 minutes of putting up with it and wondering whether i was still going to get into bed or whether i was going to go out to my sisters or just somewhere!.. i decided you know what.. Have it bloody back for a change! So my TV soundbar is up to the max in the front room. Had enough of it, seriously. If i didn't do this i would have probably gone on a rampage around to their door and bang it down like i have done previously but been told by the police to ignore them now. They know what horrible type of family they are anyway, and the father is well known by them but i cannot help but resent my local council for placing me here in this flat. They must think that because the elderly people who lived here couldn't really do much and basically drove them out, that they think they can do it to me. Hell no. I wont stand for it, we are a hard working family, my children go to school and the last straw was a few weeks ago when they had their music blaring gone midnight. I am so sorry for the rant but if i don't rant somewhere then it will wind me up even more

I don't blame you at all! I would be so mad especially if they were interfering with my kids sleep! I would call the police multiple times a day! Hopefully they stop doing this soon but to be honest it doesn't sound like they will.

The council should be sorting this out for you. Keep on at them.

In Australia if repeated calls to police get nowhere you can call the EPA (environment protection authority) who will come and measure the noise and if it's unacceptable can apply hefty fines and/or remove the equipment making the noise (e.g. the stereo). Do you have something like that there?

I've had the environmental health people aware before. I think the only thing I can go at the moment is ask for a sound detector. It seems so difficult to get anywhere at the moment and feel like I'm losing the will to live. I did have a police officer ring me Sunday which was nice to explain they are there, they have authorities in guessing like social services involved as they have 2 small children and there is domestic violence, seen a lady come out with a lanyard round her neck and wasn't the housing officer. Feel sorry for those poor children.. x
