I can't get no sleep, as faithless would sing!

What the fudge is going on?? This week I have woken up at about 1.45 that's it wide awake! Arghh.. I'm tired and uncomfortable the rest of the time and I'm not even going to bed early.
I'm all out of sync, being up this time makes my mind wander and I'm starting to get really anxious about D day and when and how it's going to happen. My back hurts, my heartburn has cranked up and my feet and hands look like golum of lord of the rings. I'm being a moaning Minnie I know but it's 3.15 and I'm awake! Lol

Which doesn't add to a nice relaxing restful sleep. I fall asleep ok I just can't stay asleep 😴

Is anyone else experiencing this, I'm 38 weeks today? X

Yes this has just recently been a huge issue for me. It happens around this time every pregnancy for me. I like to tell myself my body is just training itself for the sleepless nights to come (it makes it a tiny bit less annoying) but it's really hard to manage through the day with 2 toddlers AND severely sleep deprived!!!

Yes! I had that issue from about 30 weeks on. I honestly just took that time to meditate and practice breathing techniques. It helped relax my mind and body. I got rest even if it wasn't restorative sleep. Also helped me prepare for D day... not that I needed it as I ended up with a section.

Maybe get some headphones and listen to meditation podcasts or something?

Yep. Drives me crazy, along with the gut that is now just broken, the piles and inability to eat sugar as it gives me heartburn! Wah!
