How often do you notice movements?

For the last month I ve had good consistency with her being very quiet during the day and active at night. This week she's started moving more (or it feels like it as she was more active when I was sleeping) and now she's fairly active throughout the day with quiet spots. Is it normal that they switch from night to daytime activity? She has always had stints of over an hour when there's no movement too. It's so hard to figure out what's normal and what's not. I have an anterior placenta this time so I feel like that makes finding normalcy harder. I think it just freaks me out that she's seems more random some days. Anyone else?

Yes I think it's normal! My daughter switched from nighttime active to more daytime active at around 23 weeks(almost 26 now) and I do worry if I don't feel her move during my 2year old daughters nap time and in the evening when I'm reading because she does normally move a lot during those periods. There are random days where she doesn't move except in the morning and it always scares me because that's not her normal.

My little guy switched from night time activity to more in the day around 4 weeks ago, he still moves at night but he is definitely more active in the day now.

Mine has been switching loads lately. I also have an anterior placenta and it's a nightmare trying to work out his patterns I find.

I am glad I am not the only one! It really does freak me out. I didn’t feel her again for the most part the last few days my OB checked out everything and she was kicking away on the scan, I couldn’t feel anything but glad she’s doing ok. I hope all of you are getting the little kicks and reassurance that you need!
