Fed up!!

So yesterday ladies I really thought things were starting to happen.

I woke up with back ache, cramps and this awful sharp pain that felt as if it was coming from my cervix.I also had diarrheoa about 4 times. I had some paracetamol and a bath in the morning and this made me feel better for no more than an hour.

About lunch time I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was bright red blood. I felt a little alarmed but kind of excited because I assumed it was down to me starting to dilate/ a show. I tried to get hold of my midwife but as per usual her phone was off (shes pretty useless).

I called the delivery suite as I wasnt sure what to do and they asked me to come in. I then start chucking in some bits to my hospital bag just in case and we left.

I was kept on the monitor for a couple of hours and then the doctor came in and explained he needed to have a look inside to see where the blood was coming from. So I had to have a speculum and have him examine me.

By this time I was in a lot of pain and I was so angry because it turned out to be ectropian cervix?? Never heard of this but its also referred to as your cervix eroding!? I just wanted to cry.

Basically I feel fed up because I just want something to happen now. All that pain and no baby....just needed a rant

Oh no poor you. I had the same the other name got minus the blood. Turn out it was just Braxton hicks but I had them all night and they really hurts. I also had a bad tummy the day before out of now where so I was sure it was the start of something. The next day I was so confused and disappointed. I feel your pain, I have had an eroded cervix pre pregnant and it's scared the life out of me As I was worried it was something moe sinister x

Oh wow! Yeah its not pleasant is it? Did yours just go away and heal itself? Because I am worried it will cause problems during my labour.

Bless you. When is your baby due? I went ten days over with my two year old and it felt like i would never have her. Its a frustrating time and you often feel everyone else goes into labour early and you had to be the one who didn't. I was eventually induced 9 days after my due date. I obviously can not tell u when it will happen but i can tell u that you are not alone in the frustration of waiting. Ive had bleeds up to 17 weeks in this pregnancy and it seems my cervix was to blame. For me i thought we could loose him. Luckily im 30 weeks now and hes ok. So yeah u have my symoathy bleeds cause alot of confusion x
