Headaches

Hi ladies, I'm nearly 30 weeks and for the past three days have had a constant headache. A friend mentioned about high blood pressure, should I be worried? Has anyone else had this?

I always get headaches in the third trimester, and it IS a third trimester symptom. However, if they're throbbing or pounding, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to get your blood pressure checked. You should be seeing your practitioner every other week at this point. Do you have an appointment coming up?

My next app is the 25th, it's definitely a throbbing feeling, right behind my eyes! Had to leave work early yesterday and got home and slept for a few hours.

Call your dr/midwife tomo morning and get your BP and urine checked . Pre-eclampsia can come on very quickly .

It may just be a hormonal headache , I've been suffering with them since I got my BFP and they put me in bed they're so bad. Either way you're always best to get seen asap as it's crucial to rule out Pre-eclampsia xxxxxxx

I have had horrible headaches as well and have super low blood pressure (barely 80/60) so it's certainly possible that there is another cause (like hormones, dehydration, stress, etc)

I have low blood pressure anyway so I'm hoping it's not that, no stress and I'm keeping well hydrated so think it may be hormones! Trying to get an appt to get my blood pressure checked for this afternoon.
