I was induced with my first four babies. With my first, I had an epidural, and it was loooooooooooong. Very easy, but very long. I fell asleep in between pushes because I was just exhausted. lol. But I have nothing negative to say about it otherwise. My other three, I didn't get the epidural, so I was able to get up to use the restroom and to walk a little to get baby in position and help things go faster. They went MUCH quicker. And they were much easier. The recovery was a lot easier, too. So, if you can handle it, I'd recommend not getting the epidural... but since labor isn't always easy or cut and dry, if you need the epidural, do what you've gotta do! No judgment here! I just know that my recoveries without the epidural were so much faster and easier - as were the labors. I didn't have ANY bad experiences with my four inductions. All went perfectly! My only advice is to have a good meal beforehand if possible. They wouldn't let me eat at the hospital, and I was only allowed to have ice the entire time. I was so hungry and wished I'd had a good breakfast, and I knew to have a nice meal before going to the hospital every other time. Other than that, relax and enjoy your last few days!!

Has anyone been induced? Can you offer any tips or advice. Please no horror stories as I am already feeling quite scared about it all! Xx
Have sex as much as you can. The semen helps dilate.
