Insomnia anyone?

I'm wide awake but I'm exhausted! I went to bed early tonight to try catch up on some missed sleep, fell asleep instantly but now at 12am I can't get back to sleep. Help!

Well I finally fell asleep but woke up every 2 hours needing toilet or to switch sides! It's getting so difficult now, I'm on the countdown!

With my first, I had pregnancy insomnia the entire time! I read so many books on my kindle in the middle of the night! Hoping it goes differently this time!

I am the same way. I am up multiple times at night. Most often I am up from about midnight until around 2. I am so exhausted these days.

I can't sleep either and even my sleeping meds aren't working. I'm up every hour to pee or vomit and then I'm wide awake from really early on. Been up since 4.30 today, and I have a consultant appointment at 9.30

It should be the opposite, we need our rest before the newborns arrive! It's awful just lying awake for hours and then falling asleep right before it's time to get up.
It's a vicious circle then because I feel like I need a nap during the day but find it harder to sleep at night if I've had a nap!

It happens to me every pregnancy. I always tell myself my body is just preparing for sleepless nights to come!! I do hate the "I'm so exhausted but can't sleep!" .. It's annoying!

I've been drinking chamomile tea the last few evenings and I think it might be helping? I still wake up every 2 or 3 hours but haven't had any trouble falling back to sleep so I'm happy with that!
