What will you do with your older child in labour?

Just wondering for those having your second or more what will you do with your older child/children when you go into labour?

If it's the middle of the night, we'll just leave him asleep as SIL is staying with us at the moment, I trust her to kind of keep him safe overnight but once it's morning, or if we go into hospital during the day, my dad will come over to the flat to be with him because she won't really know how to look after him in terms of food, activities, getting him to school etc. My mum will be with me of course haha
I am feeling a bit anxious about the idea of leaving ds though. Think he'll be a bit upset and worried when I do and my labour with him was soooo long plus stayed in the night after he was born that I'm really worried about being away from him for potentially two+ nights! Hoping, for his sake and mine, this will be one of those quick second labours you hear about.

My children will go to my parents when the time comes. My mom works from home and knows our babysitter well so they'll handle the boys while we are in the hospital. They did the same when I had my last baby

My last pregnancy and this one are scheduled csections so I don't have as much to worry about what to do if the time comes unexpectedly. It still could happen but most likely not

Last baby I got sent to the hospital after my last appointment and I just had my parents pick up my son from the babysitters house

The second day of me having mild contractions I went to my parent's house with DS, thankfully I did as I went into labour a few hours after! The general plan was to drop DS there on my way to the hospital if I went into labour away from their house.

DS will go to my mum's if it's the middle of the night/weekend and OH's mum's if it's a week day. I'm guessing OH will have him at home once baby is here if I have to stay in hospital. But really just playing it by ear, I have an overnight bag already packed for DS which is together with my hospital bag.

Ds will be going to my mom's if she is off at the time. If not, then he will go to my friend's house. They both watch him while I am at work so I am not too worried about him as they both know him well.

He stays the night at my mom's a couple times a month so that should be good so dh can stay at the hospital.

DD will go to FIL's but she's not happy about it unless OH's little sister is there as she'll be bored. I'm hoping that all will go well with the birth and me and baby will be healthy as then we'll get to stay in the patient hotel rather than on the ward and in that case I'll send OH to pick up DD so she can stay in the hotel with us.

The boys go to MIL. No way will I have her here when I'm in labour. I don't like or trust her for one (long history between her and I) and she's a pain in the ass I can do without.

I actually have no clue what we will do if I go into labor before my mom gets here. Hubby is military and we havent been here long enough to know someone that we can trust to watch DS. Keeping my fingers crossed that if push comes to shove he can be with us at the hospital. Mom will be here February 2nd and my induction is set for February 5th at night. I went early with DS so who knows. Its making me a nervous wreck!
